Susan Komen "Race for the Cure"

Plano and Corporate employees joined together again to "Race for the Cure" in June!!

"I'm so happy to have these opportunities to help make a difference. Being able to participate in causes that are special to me as a woman and as a mother is a privilege I am so thankful for. Susan G. Komen and the Collin County Children's Advocacy Center are two organizations that I am proud to support and look forward to our continued efforts to do so." Jenni Feist

Ronald McDonald House - Denver

In June the Denver branch served at the Ronald McDonald again!! They have committed to serving once a month at the RMH!!
"Preparing and serving food for the Ronald McDonald House residents is not only a good way to give back to our community, it's very touching to see how greateful these folks are for a simple meal in the midst of their troubles. We feel like we get a lot more out of our service than we give!" Cheryl Harrison

Interfaith Housing

Interfaith Housing provides transitional housing, programs and services to help Dallas-area families in poverty and homelessness.

In May, Kristel Pinckard and Patricia Hall helped to paint an apartment for a family to move into - clean! It's always a great thing to get outside your comfort zone and do something for others. You go to be a blessing and end up being the one blessed. Interfaith has a wonderful concept of taking people who have fallen on hard times and equipping them to get back on their feet with the life skills necessary to do so. It was truly a pleasure and i look forward to future opportunities to serve" Kristel Pinckard

Building Homes in Guatemala

Becky and Michael Pond in Guatemala with the family they helped to build a home for. Six kids and a mother live in this 10 x 18 new home with no running water or electricity. This home was a drastic improvement over the corn hull and tarp home they lived in before. Becky and Michael went on the mission trip with their church.

Knights of Heroes Golf Tournament

Trina Nevrla in the Colorado branch helped with a golf tournament benefiting the Knights of Heroes. This is a charity that helps boys from ages 8 - 16. They provide a week long camp experience for boys that have lost their fathers in war casualty. The camp is designed to give the boys a chance to build friendships and provides mentoring relationships.

Serving at the Denver Ronald McDonald House

The Denver branch cooked and served dinner to the families at the Ronald McDonald House. The families are staying at the house while their children are in the hospital. It is comforting for them to have a kind place to stay and a home cooked meal during a very stressful time in their life.

Thank you:
